Google Tool Lets You Build a Corolla with Friends

One of the biggest obstacles to making a decision is choice. There are so many! It can help immeasurably to have a friend nearby to provide input and a unique opinion. That’s basically the thinking behind a new Google-based online tool from Toyota called Collaborator.

First off, it’s super cool. Collaborator lets you and your friends design the car of your imagination all together in real-time. Thanks to Google’s video app, you can see and hear one another as you customize every aspect of your Toyota, from decor to the sound system, and more. You can view the car from any angle, explore the inside, put it through a virtual test drive to see it in motion, and then share it with even more friends and family to check out.

Plus, if you ever get stuck or aren’t sure how to do something, just click a button and a Toyota representative will be on hand via live video feed to answer questions and guide you to where you want to go. So far the Corolla is the only model available on Collaborator, but there are 12 different trim options, from the L to the S Plus.
