The 2014 North American International Auto Show is officially underway in Detroit today, launching us into one week of automotive news from nearly every automaker in existence.
At the 2013 NAIAS, 71 new models made their debut with dozens more features, updates and new trim versions. This is the show where brands reveal major refreshes to models, new company direction, working prototypes using new technologies, and concept vehicles that show what might be on the horizon five years from now.
At this blog, we will be updating frequently throughout the day regarding news and developments about Toyota. We’ll have a lot of cool video, photos and links to more content directly from the floor in Detroit, just as if you were milling about in the crowd going from booth to booth.
NAIAS is held in the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan where almost 1 million square feet are dedicated to the event. With about 800,000 people attending in 2012, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine that one million people will pass through the doors this year. Check back with us throughout the day to see what’s new and what’s on the way.
