We’ve written about Saving Grace and Leith Toyota before, and with good reason: adopting animals is a selfless endeavor that speaks up for those who need a home.
As you can see in the video above, Leith Toyota is teaming up with the nonprofit to get the word out about adopting animals. As an incentive, Leith Toyota will donate $100 to Saving Grace for every new Toyota sold.
Saving Grace has several features, however, that demonstrate their dedication to providing a nurturing experience for the animals they rescue. Saving Grace has limits on how many animals they house so that they maintain the resources to keep their quality of care high. They only accept animals that play well with others and with people. Instead of being confined to kennels like many animal shelters, animals at Saving Grace get to run and play in the outdoors where they can feel the sun’s rays and sniff the wind, the way animals are meant to do.
Animals at Saving Grace receive instruction on the basics of human manners–sitting, not jumping on people, being in a crate, walking politely on a leash, etc.–so that when a suitable home is found for them, it will be an easier transition. To find a home, Saving Grace provides a quick, easy, and thorough survey to applicants to make sure that animals go to compatible owners in terms of family size, location, lifestyle and family members.
As a final round of care, departing animals are given a full medical evaluation, (spay/neuter, vaccinations, heart worming, and flea and tick prevention). They are then outfitted with a microchip to associate them with their adopter and Saving Grace.
If you know someone who has a heart for animals, let them know about this organization so we can get all the animals taken care of.
Happy Holidays!
