0This is the time of year to share many things: our time, our affection, our vacation days, and for many of us, our toys. It is in this spirit that many of you were kind enough to participate in our Toys for Tots event at Leith Toyota, and we are thoroughly impressed by your giving. You can still drop off your toys at Leith Toyota through Friday, December 20. Just make sure they’re unwrapped.
Toys for Tots is an organization operated by the U.S. Marine Corps. Local communities across all 50 states bring toys to donation sites where they are picked up–often by marines–and delivered to needy children within the local communities.
Leith Toyota was proud to be a collection point for the community, and we couldn’t be more pleased by the donations. Because of you, there are many children in the area who will have a brighter holiday season.
This is precisely the type of activity that should be happening in our community, and if you find the story inspiring, we encourage you to share it with your friends and family. Distribution of the toys will happen very soon, but if you’d still like to make a donation to local children, Leith Toyota is collecting toys through December 20. Please make sure you bring the toys unwrapped. If you can’t make it by the 20th, there are many local agencies, groups and organizations who would love to work with you.
